1. General
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made through jewellreef.com (“Website”), operated by Jewell Reef, business ID 3361046-2, registered in Finland (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By placing an order on the Website, you confirm that:

you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian;

you have read and accepted these Terms;

you have reviewed and agreed to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which form an integral part of these Terms.
We sell internationally. Mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence shall apply and shall prevail if they provide you with greater rights than these Terms.
All purchases are made directly between the customer and Jewell Reef. Shopify acts solely as an e-commerce platform provider and is not a party to the sales contract.

3. Formation of Contract
A binding purchase agreement is formed once you receive an order confirmation email from us.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of:

incorrect, incomplete, or unverifiable customer information;

suspected fraud, abuse, or unauthorized payment activity;

product unavailability or pricing errors.
If an order is cancelled by us, any payment received will be refunded in full.
Ownership of the products transfers to you only after full payment has been received.
4. Prices and Payments
All prices are displayed in the currency shown on the Website.
Prices include VAT where applicable, in accordance with EU regulations. For customers outside the EU, VAT may not apply.
Shipping costs are displayed at checkout before the order is completed.
For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties, import/export taxes, handling fees, or other charges imposed by local authorities may apply. These charges are determined by the destination country and are not included in the order total unless explicitly stated otherwise.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We ship internationally. Available shipping methods and applicable shipping costs are shown at checkout.
Delivery times provided on the Website or in our FAQ section are estimates only and do not constitute a binding delivery date. Actual delivery may vary due to destination, customs processing, carrier operations, or peak periods.
Risk of Loss
The risk of loss or damage to the products passes to the customer upon delivery to the address provided, as confirmed by the carrier’s tracking information.
If a shipment is marked as delivered by the carrier but the customer claims non-receipt, we reserve the right to investigate the claim with the carrier before issuing any refund or replacement.
Delays
If a delivery is delayed for more than 30 days for reasons not attributable to the customer, the customer may request cancellation of the order and a refund in accordance with applicable law.
6. Unclaimed, Refused, or Returned Shipments
If a shipment is:

not collected from a pickup point within the carrier’s specified timeframe;

refused by the customer;

returned due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer,
we reserve the right to deduct return shipping, handling, and administrative costs from any refundable amount or to cancel the order.
7. Returns and Refunds
We accept returns in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws and our Refund Policy.
Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, customers may withdraw from their purchase within 14 days from the day the goods are received. Returned items must be unused, in original condition, and returned in their original packaging. Customers are responsible for the condition of the products during return shipment.
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment, minus any shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, or other non-refundable charges, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Refunds may be withheld until the returned items have been received and inspected.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.
We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds if the returned items do not comply with the above conditions or if we reasonably suspect abuse of our returns process.

8. Damaged or Faulty Items
Customers are required to inspect their order upon receipt.
If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, the customer must contact us without delay and provide reasonable documentation (such as photographs) to allow assessment of the issue.
If the issue is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or a refund, depending on availability and the nature of the defect, in accordance with applicable law.
9. Product Information and Natural Variations
Our jewelry is made using natural stones and handcrafted elements. Variations in color, texture, shape, and finish are inherent characteristics of such materials and do not constitute defects.
Product images are illustrative. Minor variations between the product images and the delivered item may occur.
We do not guarantee that products are suitable for individuals with metal sensitivities or allergies. Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions and material information prior to purchase.
10. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all personal, contact, and delivery information provided at checkout is accurate and complete.
We are not responsible for delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including but not limited to images, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is the property of Jewell Reef or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Any reproduction, distribution, modification, or use without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from or related to any order shall not exceed the total amount paid for the order giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, loss of business, or business interruption.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for personal injury, fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of our obligations resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, war, strikes, labor disputes, sanctions, governmental actions, customs delays, carrier disruptions, or failures of communication networks.
14. Errors and Changes
We reserve the right to correct typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to update product information, pricing, or availability at any time without prior notice.
Such changes shall not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Helsinki, Finland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in the customer’s country of residence.
